Description
The digital drum machine known as the 707, introduced in 1985, was comparable to the 909 but far less expensive. It included sounds from the Linndrum, LM1, and 909 synthesisers, but it had a gritty, compressed tone. It’s understandable that the 707 defined many early Detroit Techno and Chicago House tracks and is still extensively used today given its personality and pricing point. Samples have been taken from an original 707 as well as a soft synth vst and then run through our analogue processing chain for extra flavour. All sounds are one shots and are quantised to 127bpm.
